So what counts as a CMA CPD Course?

Prior to submitting your Course for our consideration, please ensure that it meets the following criteria for CMA CPD:

  1. Relevant Content: Courses must be directly related to complementary medicine, holistic health, or professional practice development – and must be suitable for CPD – e.g. it is ideal for Practitioners who are building their CMA CPD hours.  Courses you can submit include programmes, introductory courses, certified training and more  – if in doubt as to whether your Course will be acceptable for this special opportunity, please contact us.
  2. CMA Registered Training School: The Course must be delivered by a CMA Registered, qualified, experienced professional or institution.
  3. Existing Registered Courses Only: The Course you submit for inclusion on The CMA CPD list must already have been assessed and accredited by The CMA.
  4. Educational Value: The Course should provide clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes that enhance the skills or knowledge of the participant.
  5. Duration: Courses must contribute to a minimum of 1 hour of CPD.
  6. Documentation: Participants should receive your CPD certificate or proof of completion so that they can claim their CPD hours.
  7. “Evergreen” Courses: If you run ‘Evergreen’ Courses that are suitable for CMA CPD you will need to register your listing each month – in order to maintain visibility on the page – as all course listings require a start and end date to be featured on the listing page.  If your course doesn’t have a start or end date but simply rolls on then this will be considered to be an Evergreen Course.
  8. What is an Evergreen Course? An Evergreen Course is one that is ongoing – so your students can enrol on your course at any time.
  9. One Listing Per Course: Please only submit one listing for each course that you want us to consider.
  10. We Carefully Consider Each Course:  The assessment of the suitability of courses for CMA CPD listing takes time – so please be patient – we aim to turn each application around within 3 – 4 working days – excluding weekends and national holidays.
  11. Questions: If you require any help at all please contact us at [email protected]
