With great sadness, we announce the passing of Roberta Macmillan FCMA, our beloved Vice President of Membership at The Complementary Medical Association. Roberta was an extraordinarily kind, compassionate, funny and generous lady who touched the lives of countless CMA Members over the eighteen years that we worked together.
Her unwavering dedication helped many develop their practices and training schools, inspiring them to shine within the complementary medicine sector. Roberta was more than a colleague; she was a cherished friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of kindness, bravery and compassion will continue to encourage us all.
Roberta’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched and the positive changes she brought to the complementary medicine community. She will always be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and selfless dedication to helping others succeed. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Rest in peace, dearest Roberta.
Roberta’s family have explained that in true “Roberta Style”, she has donated her body to research and as such, there won’t be a funeral – however, should you wish to mark Roberta’s passing, they invite us to make a donation to Cancer Research UK.
