Astragalus (Astragali membranaceus)
This herb is used to raise the life energy “qi” and is used instead of ginseng on young people, as they tend to respond much better to this herb than they do to ginseng.
There are more than 2,000 types of this herb, with this one being tried and tested for efficiency.

Uses
Stimulant, diuretic, tonic, antioxidant.
Immune system: Protects against colds and illness as it strengthens the immune system. It is often given to cancer patients after chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
Fatigue: Qi deficiency – a term used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) – loosely translated as a lack of energy or vitality.
Prolapses of uterus, stomach, and rectum.
