I recently completed my Holistic Life Coach and Mind Body Practitioner certificates. Holistic health coaching is suitable for anyone who feels the need of help to achieve an identified goal. The wellbeing benefits have been shown to improve mood, lower anxiety, lead to a feeling of empowerment with increased self- esteem, creativity and sense of purpose. I am motivated to support people going through transformation, gaining clarity, and support with issues around social isolation following loss and grief.
I previously worked as a Research Nurse with over 20 years experience and a special interest in the management of patients with autoimmune conditions. As part of my nursing role I regularly coached members of staff to support them in their professional development which I found very rewarding. In addition, I have undertaken stress management courses and an introduction to theories and principles of counselling.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, daily meditation, yoga and of late the Wim Hof breathing technique.
