As an Aromatherapist and Wellbeing Coach, I quite often get asked how I use the power of scent to help people enhance their physical and emotional wellbeing, so here is a little background and insight as to how I work.
Individualised Approach – As a therapist, I take a holistic approach. I will first consult with you to understand your specific needs and goals, and consider your current state of wellbeing. This personalised approach ensures the essential oils used are right for you and your desired outcome.
Expertise in essential oils – With over 20 years’ experience in working with essential oils, I understand their properties, and potential interactions so I can safely blend oils to create natural remedies for conditions such as stress, anxiety, sleep problems, pain and muscle tension, and more.
Different application methods – I go beyond simply recommending oils. I can incorporate them into different modalities such as massage, diffusers, baths or inhalation. This allows for multi-sensory experiences and maximises the effects of the oils.
Education and empowerment – While providing aromatherapy treatments, I also educate clients about the oils used and how to incorporate them safely into their daily routines. This empowers individuals to manage their wellbeing more actively.
Create the right ambience for relaxation and stress reduction- Whether at home or in the office, creating the right environment with soothing aromas can promote relaxation, and reduce stress.
Whether through my ‘off the shelf’ reed diffusers or the warm glow of my beeswax wax melts, this can have a domino effect on improving mood, mental clarity, sleep quality, and overall wellbeing.
By combining expertise, personalised approach, and the therapeutic power of essential oils, I can help you unlock a range of benefits for your wellbeing and achieve a greater sense of balance and harmony.
It’s important to note that aromatherapy is considered a form of complimentary therapy, meaning it is intended to work alongside conventional medical treatments, and not replace them.
I hope this information gives you a little insight into how I can help you improve your wellbeing by feeling good and feeling better using the power of scent.
