Just to give you an overview of the therapies on offer here at Tree of Life Holistics and also to tell you a little bit about us.
I’m Joanne , I am the founder and owner of Tree of Life Holistics . I have been living here in Rugby for 12 years, originally from the south coast. I qualified as a Holistic Therapist in 2001, a teacher in 2008 and a counsellor in 2009. I also became an NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner in 1998.
I use a wide range of treatments to induce a sense of deep relaxation in all my clients… Indian Head massage, Aromatherapy, Sound Therapy, Reiki, Remedial Massage, Swedish Massage, crystal therapy, meditation, breath work, mindfulness, Reflexology and many other disciplines based on ancient philosophies. I am a strong believer in the concept that mainstream medicine and complementary therapies can work synergistically with each other. I feel passionately about my career and strive to teach others and open new pathways of thought for them. I believe Holistic well-being doesn’t stop when you leave me and I try to give my clients the tools to continue their journey at home.
I teach meditation every Friday evening and Saturday and I absolutely love it. My own practice has been a mix of Vipasana, Theravadan practices, Nidra, Kundalini, Tantra …. covering all aspects….mindfulness meditation, spiritual meditation, focused meditation, movement meditation and mantra meditation.
I’m very partial to Kirtan too.
I have started my One World Sisterhood Project in 2018 and provide Day Retreats bringing women together for a day of empowerment, support and nurturing.
I have been facilitating a Red Tent here in Rugby since 2018 to support women and create a community for likeminded individuals.
I also qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist in 2016. Although I prefer the Holistic modalities… this was to deepen my anatomical studies as part of CPD.
I am Vegan and as such the business operates within strict parameters of compassion to all. The products we use are 100% natural,organic and cruelty free.
We have a beautiful treatment room , The Tree Sanctuary. Offering a space of quiet contemplation and tranquility.

We opened our shop, Crystaline Dreams in June 23… a haven of esoteric tools . I specialise in importing crystals. I work with two intermediaries sourcing directly from mines. Ensuring that we maintain our ethical mission statement.

I have known Jo since 2020, we met quite by accident during lock down, I was suffering terribly, I had had two bereavements within four months, we chatted, at a distance of course, I was looking to deal with the deaths without using medication as I had been on medication for years prior after a break down, I had just given up that medication and didn’t want to go back on them, after a conversation in the street. I immediately felt at ease with this wonderful like minded woman. I had started medidation already, and wanted to explore holistic approaches further, long story short, I attended meditation, sound and drum circles, and other classes and meetings and holistic healings, I have been honoured to join her womens red tent meetings, to help discuss women’s issues and idea’s, my friend as she is now, has helped me to grieve, recover, and find a group of like minded people, I have been supported by Jo, and these women so much, Joanne is so qualified well versed and immensely professional.She has studied hard for her passion. She has made it her mission to help women and men, holistically with so many problems that normal medical treatments just have not worked for on its own. She breathes compassion, professionalism and personal empowerment. She has made my life bearable again.
Jo is a wonderful holistic practitioner who has helped me immensely the last 2 years through reiki , reflexology, Indian head massage my life is now in a much better state of flow and my anxiety etc much improved thanks to this amazingly knowledgeable , caring , professional practitioner . I also attend her fantastic drum circles , meditation classes and soundbaths, she’s empowered and helped me so much as a person .
Had an Indian head massage from Jo best thing I ever did I was so knotted and stiff felt so good after treatment can highly recommend her she is such a lovely person puts. You at ease straight away you walk out of her beautiful sanctuary almost floating on air also if you want any crystals then make appointment for her stunning crystal shop you won’t be disappointed I can guarantee it so go on make that appointment you wont be sorry
From the moment I met Jo she saved me, I was in a really dark place and after my first treatment I felt like a weight had been lifted. I have known Jo at Tree of Life for 18 months.
I joined her drum circle and realised I had found an avenue for expression and healing. Drum circle is ceremony song, chant and fun rolled into one.
I have had a variety of treatments from Jo, massage, sound healing, reflexology and past life regression. These sessions are never rushed, I am given time to process, and communicate how I feel. Jo is exceptionally knowledgeable and very professional.
Recently I have started my journey with meditation and have really enjoyed the Friday classes.
I was looking for something when I started my journey with Tree of Life, now I am looking forward to developing my life choices using my love of nature and meditation.
