We can all feel overwhelmed and find life too much at times. I have been in a very dark place in my life myself and it can feel very isolating. I found it difficult to share with others in my family or friends for fear of judgement, opinions or causing distress to others. I found counselling a huge support for me many times and felt it offered me an outlet for everything and learnt so much about myself in the process.
The therapeutic space is valuable and supportive within a safe therapeutic working relationship to allow others to feel able to share and explore what maybe troubling them.
