Dedicated to treating those with a range of psychological problems including anxiety disorders, GAD, phobias, PTSD and depression. Also here to help ex-service & serving people and the LGBTQIA+ community. I am a Mental Health advocate and passionate about increasing awareness about Mental Health.
I use CBT which is a type of talking therapy and a recognised treatment for a range of mental health issues. CBT teaches you coping skills for dealing with different issues and seeks to improve your state of mind by teaching you to spot the links between your thoughts, actions and feelings. The basic premise of CBT is that emotions are difficult to change directly so CBT targets emotions by changing thoughts and behaviours that are contributing to the distressing emotions. I am patient, highly empathetic and a skilled listener. I want to ensure that clients feel safe and comfortable in a positive, kind and non-judgemental open environment allowing them the space to explore their experiences and help them through their struggles. I build a natural rapport with my clients that has a basis of warmth, genuine support and understanding.
I care deeply about my clients and I am dedicated to offering only the very best service possible. I will be working in private practice from 10th September 2024 at The Awareness Centre, 41 Abbeville Rd, London SW4 9JX. I look forward to helping individuals re-train their minds to give them tools so that they can cope with every day life.
