I am Alun Jones a Christian Celebrant with over twenty five years of experience conducting funerals and supporting those who suffer the loss of a loved one. Following retirement from the Church of England in 2022 I have worked in prisons as a chaplain supporting prisoners whose loved ones have died whilst they are in prison. My heart is with those who suffer loss, I know their pain, and my ministry and training enables me to help those who are bereaved to go through the process of grief and towards new hope.
Along with my Partner Debbie an associate minister and Christian Chaplain for Many years we have founded ‘The Daffodil Foundation’
The Daffodil Foundation will treat the bereaved with compassion and care, acknowledging the uniqueness of every one who has died and honour the wishes of those left to mourn.
Through the Daffodil foundation we also offer post funeral bereavement support, recognising that many are left to mourn alone with their grief. We provide 5 sessions of a ‘Hope in Loss’ course to help people to understand and grow through their grief in a healthy and whole way. The Daffodil Foundation is here to GIve hope in Times of loss and support in times of Grief,
