I am at an age where I have come to ask myself "What is the purpose of my life?" And I have come to realise it is to help others to realise the purpose of theirs. As we progress through the different levels of psychological development many others ask themselves this same question. But we are often held back by unresoloved issues from our past. It is these issues that cause us suffering and lead to depression, anxiety, addictions, self blame and low self esteem to name but a few problems that afflict us and cause us suffering.
These are all issues I have dealt with in my own life. I guess the true answer to why I practise is; it is my way of putting something back into the pot, and helping to make the world, in my own small but not insignificant way, a better place to live.
