Course 1

Made for Life Advance Cancer Touch Therapy

Made for Life Cancer Touch Therapy (Advanced)

Advance Cancer Touch Therapy enables Level 3 (or equivalent) trained therapists to carry out safe treatments on the 1 in 2 people now being diagnosed with cancer along with those with complex health needs. The Made for Life Touch Therapy methodology and Made for Life Organic skincare is suitable for people with conditions such as Long Covid, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis and those suffering from stress, anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The course provides a sound understanding of why treatments may need adaptation and how to carry out a consultation sensitively to discover what  you need to know.  

Protocols for face, body and scalp are provided along with course manual and resource hand-outs and videos are all included and the course carries 24 CPD points.

Course Delivery
Is delivered using a combination of online and face-to-face learning or fully face-to-face (depending on numbers and location). It contains: 

•    6 theory modules
•    Product knowledge
•    Treatment demonstration
•    Theory test relating to modules 1 to 5
•    Supervised practice and practical assessment 
•    Case studies 

Course Entry Requirements
•    Level 3 or equivalent in beauty therapy, massage therapy, holistic therapies.
•    Level 3 or equivalent in Anatomy & Physiology.
•    Qualification should be OFQUAL registered.

Training Includes
•    Complementary Medical Association (CMA) accredited certificate.
•    CIBTAC approved certificate.
•    Advanced Cancer Touch Therapy learner pack including training materials approved to SATCC, CMA and CIBTAC standards.
•    Made for Life products to deliver treatments.
•    An SATCC certificate to display in reception

Course 2 

Advance Cancer Touch Therapy Train the Tutor

Cancer Touch Therapy Train the Tutor (Advanced)

The Made for Life CMA-accredited, CIBTAC-endorsed and SATTC-approved course enables tutors to confidently train level 3 therapists with the knowledge and practical skills to treat clients living with cancer. 

Course Delivery
•    Phase 1 – Advance Cancer Touch Therapy
•    Phase 2 – Train the Tutor Learning Tools including lesson plans and training materials for 6 theory modules and practical training of the Cancer Touch Therapy treatments
•    Phase 3 – Train the Tutor teaching practice and assessments

 Course Entry Requirements
•    Level 3 or equivalent teaching certificate.
•    Level 3 beauty therapy, massage therapy, holistic or complementary therapies.
•    Level 3 or equivalent in Anatomy & Physiology.
•    Qualification should be OFQUAL registered.

Course 3

Cancer Awareness Foundation Course

Cancer Awareness is for anyone working in a spa, salon or hotel environment and is part of the team that welcomes guests and clients.   The course gives learners a basic knowledge and understanding of people living with or in remission from cancer. 

Our Complementary Medical Association-accredited and SATCC-approved training provides confidence and understanding about what needs to be done to protect and nurture clients.  It gives learners the ability to provide a safe environment and a heartfelt welcome to those being treated for, living with or in remission from cancer 

Learners gain an understanding of what people experience when being treated for cancer and how a responsible spa or salon can ensure safe and nurturing rituals.
