About Me
My background is close on 30 years in financial services mainly in building societies but I spent the last 2 and a half years of my financial services career in banking.
During this 30 years, I rose up through the ranks very quickly to become a senior manager. I crafted my role to create an environment where my staff came first making sure they felt motivated, valued, knew where they were heading and most importantly they had a plan in place to get them there. Naively, many companies think that focusing on results gets you to where you need to be when actually this just creates a business with no strong foundations which is not sustainable. Focusing on people, their development and getting them to become more than they ever thought possible is the right way to build a company. This has always been my philosophy and it has always worked for me.
I gained accreditations and qualifications in coaching and mentoring, training and development, recruitment and a degree in leadership and business management during my time in financial services which has always given me the tools that I need to support and nurture people. I cannot even begin to count the number of staff who have gone on to be leaders as a result of working with me over the years.
When I decided to leave financial services in 2011 and after a nine year period of solely working on my hobby which was providing wedding services and creating handmade wedding stationery, I felt it was time to bet back into what I love best, coaching, mentoring and developing people.
Reaching Eden was born on the 6th April 2022 after Covid was no longer a threat and I am delighted to say that we are helping many people get their lives back on track. One year ahead of schedule I was able to bring Louise Instone into the business who is just the greatest asset and a wonderful coach and mentor in her own right.
We are both passionate about the services that we provide and grateful for the opportunities to help everyone reach their own Eden.
