Member of the feldspar family. Orange brown with metallic glitter.

Other names :

Aventurine feldspar or oligoclase.

Where it is found :

Canada, South Norway, India and Russia.

Hardness : 6 - 6 1/2 (Talc is the softest at number 1 and diamond the hardest at number 10).

Structure :

Triclinic crystalline structure.
